Hi, This is my Dads 1986 Porsche 928 S.
The system took approximently 3 months to be completed but is still not completely done, the boxes need to be carpeted and amp rack painted. We had the system put in at the toystore in Sarnia ONT Canada, By Ken Mandeville. Because of the way porsches are sealed the sound stays in the car and is extremely loud, but the people outside of the car can't hear it at all. This system was moderately cheap to install.
These are the JL AUDIO W1 10 inch woofers, and the Lanzar Vibe Amps, 600w powering the subs and 800 watts powering the mids and tweeters.
This is what you see through the hatch of the car, underneath of the carpet are the power sources (subs and amps.) Pretty Slick eh?, there is no way to see the system....
The subs are housed in a 2.5 cu. ft. fiberglass enclosure with a 3/4 inch plywood baffle. NOTE: The subs were recently changed to polk DX 10's, as soon as I get a chance I will post the new subs picture...
This a picture that was extremely crooked but it looks neat.
These are the lanzar amps. The vibe 430, and Vibe 420. The Vibe 420 is bridged to give the subs more power.
This is the Lanzar DC64 6.5 inch midbass driver.
This is the Legacy LCD98DX, 4X45 watts.
The EQ of the system, the Lanzar Vibe E750S, it is a 7 band EQ.
The tweeters and Mids, both Lanzar, 4 inch mids and 1 inch tweets.
This system is AWESOME BUT DOES NOT LOOK GOOD!!!!!!!!! It will look good soon... but looks aren't everything =)
