I work at a Car Audio/High performance and body shop here in town and im MECP Certified and Alpine Certified and I just thought i would tell you that the Alpine type R subwoofers are ment for a 1.25cb/ft sealed box to actuall slam and based on your cars acoustic attributes you should push a 140 all day long with the amp you have if you set it right. If you need any more info hit me up
