*********************Pictures Of The Car Out Of The Shop Posted!!!*********************
*********************Check back often for updates!!!*********************
This is my '99 Civic Si. The picture below is what the car was expected to look like when I got it back from the body shop. I designed the paint scheme in and added the new body kit components in PhotoShop. Before the accident the car was Black with a red metallic flake and had a Xenon urethane kit modeled after the Mugen EK9 kit. I wasn't fond of the kit but especially hated the shopping cart handle attached to the back so after getting out of the Air Force I desided it was time for a change.

The new kit is consists of a ViS R34 style front, F1 fenders, Spyder skirts & wing, and a rear bumper of wich the name currently eludes me. The wheels are Tork Switch I am waiting on the lug adapters before I can put the wheels on and may have just sold them to another guy since I still can't get the local machine shop to finish the adapters. I nixed the tutone paint because after almost a year of waiting for it to get done I wasn't too sure if I'd like it on the whole car, looks tight in the photoshop but I wasn't sure so I went with the Flamenco Black and a little heavier blue pearl.
25 September 2008: Ok here are some more pics of the car and the engine bay after I cleaned it up a bit, Mobil1 all the way... always and forever as long as I have the car... and I just installed the tail lights that have been kickin around the garage while the car was hemmed up.

20 September 2008: So I finally got the car back from the body shop, here are the first two pics. My camera is all jacked up so these are off my phone in front of Kragen, since I picked it up and pretty much had to go straight to work. It has its winter rims 16" Gunmetal Enkei's with a polished lip, and the coilovers are topped out still so the stance is that of a 4x4. She'll come back down as soon as I get some time. I'm waiting for a few more pieces then I'll post up some pics of the engine bay and interior.
27 June 2008: Still haven't got the car back from paint yet due to the fact it's a "hommie hook-up" on the custom work so customers paying full price have a bit of a priority. No big deal since my wife and I just had our third kid, a little girl on the 2nd of June and have much to do right now.
17 March 2008: Here are the progress pictures of the car thus far, all shaved and prepped. New Ft/Rear covers and wing were in the booth getting set in primer. New lighting will be installed once the paint is laid. Hopefully the paint will be sprayed this Friday!
So now that you've taken the time to read my little spiel here are the pics I finally rescued off of my busted ass digital camera. These pics are all prior to the new kit and paint, I'll post those once I get them from the body shop.
Here are a few pics of the motor after the JDM swap, they don't show the new throttle body, headder, strut brace, intake manifold, or some of the more recent additions.
And finally a few shots of the Type-R interior, the door panelsand the console trim (not pictured) are real but the seats are replica. All of that is going for a color matched custom fiberglass job, and the carpet is getting scrapped for a light coat of spray on bed-liner.
Let me know what you think!!
