Phase Three of Customizing.

Blah looking engine bay, need of some "eye candy".

New coil packs w/ Taylor Plug Wires.
Engine "eye candy" has been applied. Carried the red and silver theme to the engine bay. All of the paint applied is ceramic engine enamel. Good for 1200*F. I chose this because it can withstand the high heat temperatures in the engine compartment. What was black was sandblasted. primed, painted silver and clear coated. The engine supports were chrome but I sandblasted that off. The engine cover and cold air intake were primed with an adhesion promoter for plastic, painted red and clear coated. The same process was done for the oil fill tube and cap. The plastic trim around the hood latch was done the same way but was painted silver. The Monte Carlo SS and bowtie emblems are OEM and were applied to the engine cover when the clear coat dried.
The new front end treatment. "Wicked Sick"!!
The new chrome "nuts". "Bling Bling" For car show use only.
Shield emblem relocated to the rear deck lid. I used double sided molding tape to attach it.
Scroll saw artwork by my uncle. I painted it. Kind of gives you an idea of what the car looked like before I did anything to it. I did a pencil tracing of the Intimidator SS in the 2004 Monte SS sales brochure on tissue paper, then made a copy of that on stronger paper, gave that to my uncle and he cut that out on his scroll saw.
Something to hide the bracing under the trunk lid.
Leather wrapped steering wheel cover. Not easy to put on. Little Hot Wheels Monte SS on the steering wheel.

Picture for the door sill plates will be here. Forgot to add it.

Picture for the L.E.D. taillights will be here. The last part that I am still waiting for.

My parts poster. Everything that I put on the car is listed here. My brother made this for me.
