I have owned the car since 1995. It had a locked up 2.8l and a 700R4 in it with 157,000 on the odo.
Now it has a 350, glide and a 9in. The engine is a 3970010 block bored .070, steel crank, JE 13:1 pistons, compstar rods, comp roller cam and lifters, pete jack gear drive, brodix track 1 heads, crane roller rockers, brodix intake, 750 holley hp carb, 7al 3 msd, msd distributor, csi electric water pump, griffin radiator, hooker super comp headers, barry grant 400 fuel pump and regulators, powermaster alternator, top gun nitrous system (i havent sprayed it yet, i just got all the stuff needed)
The trans is a stock case glide, bme brake, bme shield, hardened input shaft, 5700 stall converter, aluminum deep pan
The rear end is a 9in , 5.00 gear, spool, 35 spline axles , ladder bars, qa1 coil over rear, wish bone track locater.
Latest upgrade is wilwood disc brakes all 4 corners
Best time 6.81@ 99mph in the 1/8. Can't wait to spray it this year!
In may, i made a 75 shot full pass, ran 6.43 @ 104mph in the 1/8. Its amazing how it changed so much.
