**********************************2002 GMC Sierra 1500 SLE ext. cab 4x4**********************************

This is my 2002 GMC Sierra 1500 SLE 4x4. It is ext cab with 4 doors. Thats right, not three, but 4 doors :) (suicide) It has a 5.3L V-8 with almost 300hp stock.
When purchasing this truck I looked for some key features such as the following:
` Engine: 5.3L not the 4.8L
` Cab: Extended, with 4 doors
` Color: Black exterior with dark interior, because I knew I would be chroming it out. Hard to keep clean tho :(
I found this vehicle on the internet and knew I had to have it. I feel that I overpayed but I knew it would be hard to find one with all the same features. I was happy with this choice beacuse it was in mint condition concerning rust. All it was missing was some paint underneath the back quarters and one trim piece was bubbling. The previous owner never put mud flaps on, just minor things.

I have a 3" body lift with 35" tires. (315/75R16) They are BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO's. The rims I went with were an offroad style. They are American Eagle 16" rims, Series 102 which I purchased polished instead of chrome. The reason for that is that they will not start to rust if some stones chip the finishing.

Most people don't throw on 35" tires with just a 3" body lift. I have decided to go the extra mile and do some trimming to fit these bas boys in. You may not believe it, but I have my full turning radius. I bought the rims with a big enough off-set to allow full turning without any rubbing.

The only rubbing I get is if I am turning and I bottom out on the suspention. I plan to buy a leveling kit to take care of that problem, which will raise the front end about 2" more.
