My 1999 Infiniti G20

The front bumper cover was removed for refinishing. I filled the license plate holes and scratches. Finally got around to actually painting my bumper cover. Wish I'd have thought about before & after pics with all the other cosmetic mods I've done. Oh well. Can't see it so well in these pics, but I've done a minor custom paint job on the bumper cover. The inside of the lower opening was painted to match the color of the custom upper grill I made. Eventually, the side skirts below the doors will also be removed, refinished and painted to match the grill.

For the grill, I basically shaved off all the chrome, cut out the verticle louvers, refinished w/ bondo and painted. The center was filled w/ some perforated sheet metal I sanded down, primered and painted flat black. The lower air ducts were fitted w/ the same sheet metal finished the same way. The lower grill frame was painted to match the grill in the hood while the rest of the bumper cover was obviously painted to match the rest of the car. As you can see, I opted to remove the "INFINITI" badging from the grill. Also removed the same badging that's on the rear deck lid and, instead of the "G20" badging, I removed the "20" and it's just badged as "G". Just looks a bit cleaner to me.

As you may notice by the few pics I have posted, the accessories (brake calipers, valve cover, strut tower brace, etc.) were all painted w/ the same 550-deg Red Engine block paint.
All modifications, painting and upgrades were done by me. That's why I'll never sell this car. It's worth way more to me than anyone else. Not only is it one of a kind, but it's MY ONE-OF-A-KIND!! :)

I had originally bought 225/40's when I got the wheels and that width looked REALLY good. Unfortunately that size was a bit too wide and the fender cut into the side wall. Went with a 215/45 instead of a 225/35 just to avoid the higher cost and maintain a little more cushion for a better ride. After all, this is my daily driver and the suspension upgrades make the ride pretty stiff as it is. And, believe it or not, I've noticed the gas mileage on a narrower tire is a bit better also.
