I bought the car in 2001 where it had been hanging in a sports bar for about 6-7 years. All the rims were painted black so were all the trim on the car and the tailpipes. There was no hood, a missing T-bar, no motor and no tranny, one of the rims was missing and the tail lights were virtually no good. Not to mention all the windows were tinted except the drivers side which had ben smashed out after I bought it and before I was able to pick it up. It's fully loaded and in the front seat after purchase I found all the original manuals including the dealer confirmation sheet listing all the options and the price. The original colour is brown. Plus the original Trans Am mats from the factory were still in. Since then I have put a '77 400 into it with a TH350 tranny, purchased a used hood, started taking the decals off, bought another Turbo rim, took all the tint off, replaced the drivers side window and put shocks in the front (there were no shocks just rods with bolts). This summer I plan on putting some $$ into it like new tires, a new Holly Carb. and Flowmaster exhaust. The daunting task will be taking the rest of the decals off. Despite how it looks in the pics, the paint has some marks cause of the decals. Check back for updates.
This is how it looked prior to buying it

Time and patience have brought me to what I have today. The following pictures show progress over the years.

Before some of the decals were removed

Not a bad looking hood for $100

...the decals are slowly coming off
...this side wasn't decal'd

No more Goodwrench decal and shined up

...the decals are a PITA to take off and time consuming...the rest will come off this summer
