valman1973’s 1975 Cadillac DeVille

This is my new baby. It's a one-owner 1975 Cadillac Sedan de Ville which lived with its elderly owner from 1975 to 2007 at Leisure World in Laguna Hills, CA. It then spent the past 12 months going from car donation/charity organizations and a couple of dealerships before I spotted it on eBay. It has travelled just 29K miles. I don't know how they're seen in the USA, but here in New Zealand it turns heads like nothing else! These are shots from shows the car has been to so far. To date I have done a fair bit to the car, mostly because it has sat for a number of years back home in the US. Tyres, shocks, brakes, drive belts, HEI, plugs and wires have all been replaced. The Quadrajet carb has been rebuilt and the original, rotted-out vacuum lines has been replaced with steel lines. The transmission has also been serviced and the diff checked.
