Alright, here we go, here's the lowdown. Firebird's and Trans Am's have been in my family for a while, my dad had a 77 Trans am, and my uncle (his older brother) had a 78, not to mention that the uncle that owned the 78 is now a Snap On tools specialist, and another uncle of mine owns an autobody shop (his youngest son, my cousin, owned an 87 Firebird for a year or so from what I've heard). My dad gets upset watching "Smokey and the Bandit," because he misses his car so much and to this day hates the fact that he sold his car in 96, but he drove it as a daily driver for 18 years or so, so I can see why a car like that, drivin that much, was so hard to let go of. I've been looking to keep the legacy going since I was 14 years old, and I'm now 18 and it took til 2/20/08. That's the date I bought my dream, keeping the legacy going, A 1992 Pontiac Firebird with the 5.0 litre (I meant to spell it that way btw)and t-tops. It is by far the beastliest thing I've have ever drivin, ESPECIALLY having stepped down from my mom's minivan (which was more fun than people would expect) to this monster. It has catback flowmaster (american thunder?)exaust that makes it sound angry at you as it soars down the road. The interior is cleanest I've seen, especially in 92's, no rips, no tears, no stains, no missing parts, or broken parts. Everything works from the headlight motors to the trunk motor, with literally no problem at all. It drives like...well if your a Firebird/Trans Am/Camaro fan, it's a dream. I've never loved anything more and don't know if I could or if it's even possible. I am a Firebird/Trans Am freak/fanatic, but i also love Camaros, i mean I kinda have to right? i have high hopes for my car, in the future I'd like to paint it black, get black out's for the tail-lights, and change it from tbi to tpi so i can get some cold air intake on there and raise in the back an inch, lower it in the front an inch and get some wide ass, bigass tires back there, but with my money situation right now, that might not be for a long time. I want this car to remain with me for a very long time, if not FOREVER. Any questions?
