This is what my 2001 740iL looked like when I picked it up Summer of 2007 with just over 23,000 miles. It came with the Racing Dynamics rims pictured as well as the stock M-parallels. It now has about 33,000 miles. Only time will tell what it will become.

Unlike some out there, I do not claim that my car is a bulletproof M7. For one, my car does have a moonroof. Also, the rear windows can be rolled down. Hence the controls in the driver's door. Some uninformed and ignorant people think they have a Protection package when in fact they don't. They think because the glass is thicker than usual it will stop a bullet - FALSE! The thicker glass just insulates better.

Also, BMW never, ever made an M7! Slapping an "M" and a "7" on the trunk just makes real 7-series drivers shake their heads in disgust at the poser.
