stoplightgetaway's 1989 Chevrolet S-10 Blazer

I picked up this 1989 Chevy S-10 Blazer 4x4 (A.K.A. Problem Child) for a daily driver and to take places my other truck can't go.

Shortly after buying this truck I started fixing it up cosmetically and mechanically. 

- New oil filter lines

- New air filter

- New cap, rotor, plugs and plug wires

- New Ignition coil

- New ignition module

- New o2 sensor

- New coolant temp. sensor

- New radiator

- New water pump

- New thermostat

- New transfer case vacuum switch

- New driver's side door hinge pins

- New dome light switches

- New gauge cluster bulbs

- New seat covers

- New driver's side door handle rod and clip

- New fog lights mounted to the brush guard

- New Magnaflow catalytic converter and tailpipe

- Used Flowmaster muffler I had laying around installed

Parts from the junkyard -

- Dome light cover

- Antenna grommet

- Emergency brake release handle

- Hood release handle

- Rear hatch lock/handle (Had a locksmith fix it to work with my key)

- Right side tail light harness

- Window channel guides

- Chrome brush guard (See page 4)

Hey, thanks for leaving a message about my sleeper V8 Blazer. Very impressive what you did with the radio, inspiring! I was thinking of putting an aluminun plate in the stock radio opening, and put a start button and toggle switches for the various things - fog lights, electric fan... adn then building a new custom center console with a double din opening for a 7" DVD style head unit... I'll keep you posted! ratfink87

Don't cut up the dash a normal install kit for around 10 dollars will set it out for enough tust me I have owned several S10's and still have two all with after market radios any Q's just drop me a line.

before you start cutting get the one inch install kit from metra then get a spacer from a ford taurus kit the you wont have to do any cutting behind the dash.
