Here's The FINAL Update for the ol Danger Ranger:
I sold the Danger Ranger to my friend Chris. I know he'll build er an fix er up more than i could, since I'm broke. I didnt want to sell er, but she's in good hands now...I help him work on my old truck, because I want to see it evolve into the beast I know it is. Heres the pics the day i sold her.
May 19th, 2009---Ok another update, My dad is still driving the Danger Ranger, and he sold the 73 bug, and bought an 888 Thunderbird Turbocoupe, which he'll be driving to work soon. The Ranger has been a great daily driver, and is still going strong, although I need to adjust the timing on it.
Its been awhile since i have update the 86, so ill fill you all in. Since i last updated, I have bought a 97 ranger 2wd, and that is now my daily driver. My dad is now the daily driver of the 86 danger ranger, since his 73 VW Bug still needs some more work done to it. I still drive the 86 from time to time, and i miss driving it....but now i have a lowered custom 97 ranger, and i also just recently bought a 84 ranger, with a 302 and 5-speed in it :D So many projects.....so little time
i was screwing aroung with photoshop lol
Thanks to all those who rated me, i have the #1 86 ranger on cardomain!!!! for now anywayz lol

Z3CHYD's 1986 Ford Ranger Quarryville, PA Customized with Alpine Tweeters, American Racing Wheels, Custom Truck Parts Strut Bars, NAPA Springs, Monroe Shocks, Pioneer Speakers, AC Delco Wiring, Jensen Head Unit, Custom Shift Knob, BF Goodrich Tires, SYLVANIA Lighting, Cherry Bomb
This is my 86 Ford Ranger 4x4.Its my first vehicle, It has a fuel injected 2.9L V6 with a 5 speed.I bought it for $400, an then I had to add a couple of parts. Some things I had to do was replace the o2 sensor on the exhaust, put on a new EGR valve, new plugs and wires, mew MAF, and a new Ignition module.I Painted it Flat black with $10 worth of Walmart paint. I had to get another tailgate from the junkyard because the old one was rusted out, I also put a cheapo speakerbox behind the seat lol for a lil added sound. The speedometer says 85, but Ive gotten the needle as far as it can go, which is about 95-100 mph, in a basically stock ranger, cant complain with that :D Now I added a sony head unit to. The speakers that were in the armrest area are now in the dash. I have also rebuilt the rear brakes, since they leaked and were worn. I also bought an E-Brake Cable lol. After the saftey stuff was taken care of I put on a Cherry Bomb Glasspack muffler to replace the cherry bomb turbo muffler, along with 2-1/2 inch pipe.
The truck as of 5/5/2006
