Thanks for checking out my cardomain pages.
This is my 1984 Dodge Rampage 2.2. My Grandfather bought it new in the spring of 1984.
My father was in high school then and was with my grandfather on the day he bought it. After
I expressed alot of interest in the Rampage, my grandfather promised he would give it to me
after I got my driver's licence. My grandfather passed away before I even began driver's ed.
The car fell into some slight disrepair. My dad has been helping me get it back into
working order. Ever since my grandfather promised me the car I've dreamt of making it a show
car(but driving it daily). The original color was silver exterior and red interior.
The driver's seat back broke and the interior colors had faded badly. I removed all of the
interior panels and dashboard and repainted it all black. We removed the faded door panels
and recovered them with padding and new vinyl. I'm going with Black and Electric Blue for
my interior colors. We purchased new seats, carpet and 5-point seat belts so far. The
new carpet is black and the new headliner my dad and I made is electric blue made of the same
vinyl as on the doors. This is still a work in progress so I will be adding to this site as we
continue on. I have some pictures of the car when it was new and pictures of it sitting
beside a 1983 Plymouth Scamp GT 2.2 which my dad bought in 1986. I'll be scanning those
and adding them soon, as well.
