GDAccent's 1998 Hyundai Accent

~~~ 7-18-09 ~~~
I have finally gotten my LED Interior kit hooked up. I still need to wire in the doors, but that should be soon.
The lights were flashing at the time, except for the ALL red.
~~~ 7-11-09 ~~~

I have started my sideskirt project. See page 8 for the Details.

~~ UPDATE: 7-3-09 ~~

I found a front lip to add to the front bumper. A Type R style usually fits a 95-99 Honda Civic. With some minor modification to it....It now fits perfectly.

The only thing I have left to do, is hook up the wiring for the LEDS. 1 12" strip in the door pocket, 1 8" strip behind the "GDAccent" sign, and a 3mm red LED in the inside door pull. Hopefully will have that done this weekend. And then I can start on the drivers side. Since I have learned what eeds to be done, that should go well and quick.

See the whole process on page 6.

IN THE BEGINNING......

~~~ BASIC LOOKS.....FOR NOW ~~~
Look'n dirty, But here is my 98 Accent, which I am going to try to do my best to transform it into something with a custom look. Recently have been seeing a new scene with the 95-99 Accents and now I am inspired to do my part.
Closeup of the crookedh emblem, so I painted it red with Metalcast anodized paint. I think it needs a touch up and will do that soon.
( 5-6-09  I am in the process of making a new bade for the car. I should have it done this weekend. )
~~ 5-10-09 Update to the NEW Badge on page 4 ~~
Did some research and had an Idea, I found some gutterguard at Home Depot and made myself a custom grille insert, not bad for $1.68 vs. $50.00 - 200.00 for the same thing.
Onto the next phase, Headlights. Wanted a meaner look, so I painted eyeliners on and will make some out of FG soon instead.
Here is new custom shift boot. Got some red goat leather for a local supplier. Stitched it at work. Since then, I have now painted the center console and will add a pic soon.
GDAccent's 1998 Hyundai Accent
I recently painted the center console. I have also added Red LEDs to the cubby hole and to the back to light up the area behind the seats, but have not wired them in yet.
I found my old Vampire Skull shift knob I made a long time ago. Thought I had lost it. But its time to put it back in.
GDAccent's 1998 Hyundai Accent  The shift boot is made from special red Goat leather and hand stitched by a close friend of mine.
~~~  TAIL LIGHTS ~~~

Didn't like the stock Taillight look, and really want a pair of those clear ones, but they are not available since I guess they were a onetime project, anyways. I found some tattoo designs online and converted them to a stencil.

Thats is so far. Hope you like what you see. I'll be adding new pics soon as I can finish the other projects. Currently I am designing a rear window Wing/Spoiler. Sideskirts and Hood. I am currently also Painting center console. Customizing the doors and adding LED accenting at floors, door handles, air vents, door cubbys. I will hopefully earning some extra money to get some new wheels, so far those are stock and thats why there are no pics of the wheels.
