1964 Chevrolet Van, 6 cylinder, automatic. This was my first attempt at vanning. I purchased this van for $300.00 in 1972 and started going to van events and traveling. The picture below it was taken in Colorado Rocky Mountains in the winter. After traveling over 30,000 miles in this van I was firmly converted to the vanning lifestyle. On one side of the van was a full mural of Yosemite Sam and on the opposite side of the van was a full mural of Bugs Bunny. Those were the days of Peace, Love and Vanning! I then painted the van blue put on some chrome wheels and wood bumpers and sold it to get a dodge split window van as they came with a v8 and so the story goes.
