Youre about to see why Mustangs will always rule the streets of The United States of America. Shout out to all fellow Mustang drivers, new and old! Muscle car guys, this is for you!
Heres the ORIGINAL ad used for the 1967 Fastback!

This is my 1967 Mustang Fastback. It is an original Arizona car and is in great shape. Im working on putting the finishing touches currently. I wanted to show this car being put together from beginning to finish. These two pictures are of the car when I first got my greedy hands on it. I bought the car off the guy who bought the car in 1967, and its taken some punishment. I hate to see good cars getting beaten by a poor owner, but this car is in great shape for being over 30 years old.

This car is shown here in its original black paint job. This paint was discolored which is kind of hard to see in this image. The grill shown here was a make-shift homemade kind of grill, which I thought was cool but looked kind of tacky so it was replaced with the stock grill, which I think looks much better. The windows had 5% tint and had to be removed prior o repainting the car. The engine is the stock 289 bored .030 over to make a more practical 302 ci displacement. A custom air intake was built to accomodate the increased demand of the motor, and a 750CFM adjustable Holley carb takes care of its heavy thirst for fuel. A roller camshaft helps with a quick launch off the line, and steep acceleration curve. Edelbrock X-pipe exhaust takes care of the smoke, and add a meaty low chugging at every stoplight. A 4-speed manual tranny makes for quick dispertion from the smokies!

The wheels shown here were the ones that came with the car, Centerline wheels. These wheels are great for going in a straight line, but their low rigidity and high flexibility make them a poor choice for the road-course enthuisiast. These wheels were realced with American Racing Pro Tourque Thrust-"D"s. In addition, all chrome parts were re-finished and all new rubber and weatherstripping all around, also including all new interior and seat re-apholstery. The car needed more tire on the ground - for better control and stability. The tires were big enough that the fenders were flared by hand to keep the tires from rubbing on the inside of the fender wells. I'll do my best to update this page and keep you guys filled in on the project as it comes together. Read the bar on the left for a more descriptive setup of the vehicle. Thanks for visiting!
