This is my 2008 Land Rover Freelander 2 (this is the UK name for the car), known as the LR2 in the US.

It is a 3.2 litre, 6 cylinder petrol injection, developing 233 bhp, and is fitted with a 6 speed automatic gearbox with sport mode and sequential shift!

The car is finished in Stornoway Grey metallic. Wheels are 18" alloys fitted with Goodyear Wrangler tyres.

The interior is ebony leather with electrically adjustable driver and passenger seats. Front seats are heated which is great in cold weather! Sound system is by Alpine with Dolby Pro-Logic Surround Sound, in-dash 6 CD player and radio, 9 speakers and sub-woofer in the boot! Controls for the sound system are also found on the steering wheel together with cruise control and integrated personal telephone system.

The rear door is hinged at the top and gives access to a large load area with flat floor. The rear wiper helps keep the back window clear in bad weather. I have replaced the standard wiper with an updated 'smooth bodied' wiper arm and blade. Mudflaps have also been fitted front and rear. The i6 model is identified by the twin exhaust pipes (not really visible on this photo).

Fog lamps supplement the halogen headlamps. The 'HSE i6' badge identifies the car as the top of the range!
