Curitibano's 2002 Toyota Tacoma

This is Tucker the day after I drove him back from Springfield. I bought him off of Ebay from a guy that apparently had a more than enough money. He just wanted enough to pay off the bank so he could go get himself a brand new silver Honda S2000. I was more than happy to comply. Not only that, but he treated the car like a goddess. It looked in showroom condition, literally. He'd even put back on all the "quick reference" tags and such for me. Not bad for having 12,000mi on him.

I had never wanted a truck in my entire life. But then I took a two year trip down to Brazil to be a missionary. First day back in the States, I drove by the Toyota dealership and saw the new Tacomas and that was it for me. i was hooked. I couldn't afford new, so I searched for a used that was exactly what I wanted. 3.4l engine, Xtra cab, manual transmition, forest green, tan interiorand I found it, finally, after 6 months of searching. It's a dream come true; I hope to own this thing until my kids complain about having to ride in it.

So far here's the meager list of mods, much more in planning:
Nice simple custom stereo
Cowprint seat covers
Betterbuilt aluminium truckbox(savior on storage)

This shows the truck box and a few stickers I have chosen to grace him with. My University, Virginia Tech (go hokies!); my favorite band, Dave Matthews; and the Brazilian national flag, the country where I lived for 2 years.

Future Mods Wanted:

Sunroof $300
2 to 3 inch lift
33" BFG ATs when the rugged trails give out.
K&N FIPK Generation II Air Intake $222
ARB Tacoma Deluxe Winch Bulbar $649
Tail Light Covers
Warn 9000 Winch
Roof Rack
Numerous IPF and KC lights
All-Pro Rock Guards $289
Line-X spray-in bed liner
Catamaran with trailer

Here's a pic of some of those things:

That's a good beginning.

Hi, Are you interested in buying a Custom Ceter console Sub-Box design specifically for your doublecab? I am selling one due to the slight problem of fitting my third son's car seat, I paid $650 for just the custom box alone. I also have a JL 10w7 that I used to use with the the box (they hit really hard)that I'm thinkin about selling. If interested for pictures, you can e-mail me at zaldyman69@yahoo.com or view pictures at http://photos.yahoo.com/zaldyman69. By the way, that's a nice ride you've got. Thanks for your time, Zaldy

hey man thanks for getting back to me. I see in your pics that you went thro8ugh a mud hole with water. How did the truck do in it? Also how does it do in snow? How is the ride off road and on paved road, does the truck feel strong in wind? How is the pickup in speed? How is the seating in the front and back, leg room. arm room? How do u kick it into 4wd? How is the storage? When its not in 4wd is it in 2wd or awd? How is the v6 compared to v4, 4wd compared to 2wd? Thanks man, i know its a lot of questions but i appreciate it.
