This gallery is based around my 1978 F250/350 snowfighter option equipped 4x4. It has a HPD60 with king pins up front, D60 in the rear, 4 speed standard (top loader), and 205 transfercase. It is a project in the works, and will be keeping it simple. Going to be a low maintenance driver/work truck/weekend warrior when it is complete.
Have plans for a 3" bodylift, 2" suspension lift, 16x10 aftermarket aluminum wheels, 305/70/16 Goodyear Wrangler ATS tires, XLT interior upgrade, basic stereo system, light body work and paint. The cab forward portion only has rust damage on one cab corner...other than that, cab forward is pretty much rust free. The box is a complete disaster as we speak, and am in search of a replacement asap. Will be focusing on the cab forward, undercarriage, and driveline until a box is located.
...will add pictures as progress continues.

This is how/where she was when I bought it a couple months back. I have done some extensive work to it already, will post up some pictures as progress grows.

High Pinion Dana 60, 4.10 gearing.

Started off with the body work on the cab

forward till a box is located. Sanded down, did appropriate body work, etch primer, scuff, high solids primer, guide coat, blocked out with 320, sealer primer, and eventually paint.

3" body lift installed in cab portion

Interior was stripped, sanded down, degreased, and

shot with a bedliner material to keep some function with the truck, plus the resonance in the truck is cut in half. Works great for sound deadening qualities.

Door jams were also hit with the bedliner.

New moulded carpet. Picked carpet over rubber flooring for sound deadening purposes, and the price was right.

All the trim pieces were cleaned with dish soap, rinsed, sanded with 320 lightly, degreased, and shot with some new interior paint to freshen things up. Upper chrome was polished to get rid of years of crud and grim as well.

Door panels recieved the same treatment, though the insterts were hideous wood grain XLT panels. So some updating and simplification was in order in this area. I picked up some micro suede due to the fact it was simple, easy to clean, and a buddy of mine gave me a price I couldn't resist.

Here she is pretty much complete, just in dire need of a box. Put her up for sale about a month or so
ago, and she sold in a matter of days. Only sold her for $2500.00.....Was a nice truck, and I still made a couple bux on it by the time it was all said and done.
