The subie haulin' our dirtbikes; getting 29.1 mpg :) Not missing the truck so much now.
HID'S! 6000K, BEST mod so far :) The pic's don't do them justice; they look SO GOOD!

2008 Subaru Impreza 2.5i. It does good on gas and in the snow, but I kinda wish I got something else. Unfortunately I have too many miles on it to sell it w/o loosing too much money. Details below.
AUG 9 '07 - Just purchased car this morning, brand new 1st '08 unloaded from the truck.
AUG 9 '08 - One year after purchase. @ 16k radiator blew up, 35k replaced drivers door inside pull handle (paint wear), 39k replaced front brakes, 40k intermittant "check engine" light.

AUG 9 '09 - Two years after purchase, with 76k on the clock, and counting... 3rd set of front brakes now. Rattles still exist, but no other major probs...think I finally worked the bugs out. Although I suspect I may be replacing my steering rack soon, its developed a "clunk" when I go over bumps, but its not bad yet. I got tired of changing the oil every 3k, so I switched it over to full synthetic (I get a smoking price on it) and plan on 5k oil changes. Got some '05 WRX rims for it off craigslist.

Oh ya, and I railed it into a snowbank last winter and have been looking at this ever since...

...I put a bra on to cover it up, but don't much care for the look :(
But, hey...its not a new car anymore, so I have stopped caring about it. I beat the hell out of it now, and it withstands the abuse well. LOL, I had to find an alternate route due to a road closure about a month ago, so I took a 20 mile mellow Jeep trail vs. the 80 mile alternate...got some wierd looks from the 4-wheelers, but with some creative manuvers, I never got in a bind :)
MODS TO DATE:
-6000k HID headlights
-Window tint 20% all around
-Taillights tinted
-OEM "premium package" body kit
-Trailer hitch
-Roof/ski rack (to come off in summer months)
-Removed "Subaru" and "Impreza" decals from trunk lid
-K&N drop in filter

Taillights: I am getting a lot of inquiries on the taillights. Here is how I did them; I first used 3M wax remover on the lenses to clean them. I then sprayed 2 even coats of spary tint on both lights (got the spray tint off ebay), allowing 10 mins to dry between coats. This stuff runs easy, so take your time and be sure the tint is even. After I allowed 24 hours to dry, I used Dupli-color clear (got it at Wal-mart) and sprayed 5 generous coats of clear. After allowing another 24 hours for that to dry, I wet sanded them with 2000 grit sandpaper until all the orange peel was gone, I then buffed them using 3M rubbing compound and a Mothers Powerball on a drill. This is kinda a one time deal, so take your time to do it right or it will be an expensive mistake (or just look like crap)
