turbosprint1988's 1987 Chevrolet Sprint

Here is the car with the original style wheels at a local car show.  I had to switch them back because I found out they were just a tad big.  The sure fit my 1991 Turbo Fine!!  Take a look there too.

I got this car from Southern California. It had been parked for a couple years with a blown motor. The lower end had a hole the size of a zilver dollar out the side. But, it was solid and a good canidate for restoration. I had all the parts to make it new again including a completeley rebuilt lower end with Vitara pistons, NOS Turbo head, NOS IHI Turbo, and a NOS tranny. I replaced the clutch, distributor, brakes, stuts, axels, radiator, bushings, hoses, interior.............I think it turned out very well..........I am glad that I saved it from the crusher, that is where it was headed!!!

Hi Patrick, I'm impressed with the restoration of your car, really, congratulations! I'm looking for a new or used IHI TURBO (original), because mine is broken. Actually, I have two broken shells. Now, It had been parked for a couple years too. If, I find a turbo, perhaps I can fix the car... cause Im in Costa Rica (Central America), and here is dificult to find it.Do you now where can I find one or if some of yours friends knows about that?? Please send me an e-mail: ossayg@yahoo.com I want to get up again my Sprint Turbo. Thanks, Oscar S.

Amazing resto job! The interior looks brand new! I wish my Sprint looked that good when I had it. Gotta give 5 stars for the work you put into this one.
