This is a 1973 Ford Maverick, I added the Grabber hood because it looks way more awesome than the stock plain jane hood, This car only has 30,000 original miles on it AND is a numbers matching car, Under the hood it sports a super strong 302 thats been piped into dual exausts with glass packs, (Removed original single exaust, It was too quiet, V8's should be heard *wink*) And a C4 transmission. When you open the door one of the first things you will notice is that somehow through the ages it has maintained its new car smell and look as the interior seems to have been virtually untouched by time. In the picture you will notice that it's wearing some aftermarket chrome wheels, I myself had put them on there because at the time I thought I was going to drive the car and I didn't want to ruin the ORIGINAL, yes thats right, The ORIGINAL from the factory wheels and tires which were on it, And in decent shape when I bought it. But then I came to my senses, I thought "What am I thinking, An all original Maverick, With no rust, With so little miles" I knew this was a very rare thing for a maverick to have been treated so well and It's collector potential was to great to ignore. So I bought some garage casters, Put it up on them, Covered it with a car cover and gently pushed it in the corner of the garage for safe keeping. However I have taken it out a few times (Who could resist) and entered it in 2 car shows, It took 1st place in one car show and 2nd place in another car show (Lost to one immaculate kick ass Dodge Challenger, No shame there lol). Ok so heres the answer to the big question... YES It's for sale, And heres what you get: The car (Of course lol) And all 4 factory original tires and wheels, AND both trophys that the car won (The car won them not me, They belong to the car). I also simply want to point out that there are some changes made to the car that I already said but feel I better restate for the record, And those changes are: The hood, The exaust and the wheels. If you need more pics, That's fine, But it will be in the late spring when I take them as the car has never seen a flake of snow and im not going to start now. Especially since we have more than our share of snow right now. But if you want to come see it in person, That's cool too, Just call for an appointment. If a totally original Maverick is what you crave, Then putting this one back would be a sinch. If you are seriously interested in buying this 1973 Ford Maverick, And dont be afraid to make offers, just keep it real. You can reach me by one of these numbers, home: 309-582-5002 or my cell: 309-337-9472 Thanks for looking!

OK, I finally got offa my ass and free'd the Maverick for a day, Took some updated pics and put them up for all to see. Enjoy :D

Just updating this page to let everyone know this car is still for sale, And that the phone numbers provided are current and you can feel free to call then anythime of the day or night if you are a seriously interested buyer. With that said please enjoy the pics and if you really want a diamond in the rough this is your chance, Its truly a survivor. Updated 11-8-09.
