The baffles for the door speakers were covered in fiberglas resin to help waterproof them. Clay was applied to the back of the baffle to help decouple the baffle from the door. Then, the baffle was bolted to the door, and covered in deadener to help further eliminate vibrations. Threaded knife inserts were used so the speakers could be bolted in without wearing out the baffles. Also stainless steel security screws were used to anchor all the speakers, amplifiers, and other equipment in the car.

Speaker wires attached to the mid. Note the color coded wires to indicate polarity. Also, the leads were securely zip tied to the outer corners of the basket to prevent the wires from ever becoming disconnected while in the door:

I have a 2004 ford f-150 super crew cab. And I'm trying to fit 2 12 Kicker L7's underneath the seat in a custom box I plan on building myself. But I am having trouble with the dementions. And I was hoping you could help me out since you did a bad ass job on your car, it looked like you knew what you were doing. So if you could get back with me asap, I'd really appreiciate it.

Wonderful work. Way to represent for Honda owners, that is a very well done and attractive system. You have something to be proud of and also something to consume your free time tweaking and tuning.
