thumper26's 2005 Honda Accord

This is my 2005 Honda Accord EX. This car was built to compete in MECA Street+ Sound Quality and in IASCA SQC. The primary goal was to have an aftermarket system that drew very little attention from the install, and also left the vehicle as functional as possible. The pages below cover the highlights from the build. More extensive pictures can be found in the build show off posted Here.

Here is a system diagram of what is installed in the car. All competition discs are played with the changer, which provides digital signal via fiber optic to the 701 processor. The deck was chosen for ipod integration, and also for its color screen. Speakers were chosen for quality and also for ease of install.

Special thanks are in order for people that helped this project become a reality. First, thanks to SoundDomain.com for the wealth of information and for the knowledgeable and helpful people that frequent the site. Thanks to Nathan Ledbetter for helping in the build and spending many late nights with me in his garage while we struggled to finish some part of the build before morning. Also, I'd like to thank Mike McDaniel, Kerry "Black Lavender" Madding, and all the guys at The Radio Clinic in Chattanooga, TN for their guidance, support, and work done on the build. Finally, thanks to everyone else for their suggestions and support along the way. This was a long road, and it's nowhere near over.

I have a 2004 ford f-150 super crew cab. And I'm trying to fit 2 12 Kicker L7's underneath the seat in a custom box I plan on building myself. But I am having trouble with the dementions. And I was hoping you could help me out since you did a bad ass job on your car, it looked like you knew what you were doing. So if you could get back with me asap, I'd really appreiciate it.

Wonderful work. Way to represent for Honda owners, that is a very well done and attractive system. You have something to be proud of and also something to consume your free time tweaking and tuning.
