I bought the car for 800 dollars and I've put about 600 into it. I've already fixed most of the major problems that go wrong with these cars right away because they already happened. It also has a rebuilt transmission and a new radiator. I also repaired the fuel rail.

I've had a few other problems with the car too. I had to put a larger battery in because with all the extra electronics, the battery I had didn't have enough juice to power everything.

I've also done work to the interior of the car making it alot more comfortable. I added an Alpine CD player,

2 10 inch Rockford Fosgate subwoofers, and a 450 watt amp. I also bought a FM Transmitter that I can play my MP3 player through my radio without having to hook anything extra up. I bought it at Wal-Mart for 35.00

Here is a picture of the repair that I did to the fuel rail.

What I did was use brass brazing with a welding torch set at low and made sure that the weld went down inside the pressure fittings on the rail. If anyone tries this, make sur that the tabs that bolt the rail to the manifold are level or you'll just waste your time.

I also added interior accent lighting. There are 4 red LED lights under the dash. They are wired into the headlight switch so they come on when I turn on the lights. I couldn't get a good picture of them on. This is what the interior looks like right now.

I found an identical car in the junk yard I always go to, I'm going to go get the seats out of that one. I'm also working on a custom made headliner. I'll include pics of that as soon as it's done.

I've dicovered another problem with the car that needs to be adressed. One of the axles is a two piece set-up. This poses a problem because when I changed the tranny, this part had never been removed. I'm going to replace it with a one piece axle. I'll include pics of both once I get a chance to do fix this. The fix I did to the fuel rail is holding up quite nicely too.

I just replaced the right front axle. It was a fairly simple fix. You do need the help of a friend on this though. Now the car runs even better.
