this is my old window decal, just got a new one and matching shirt so folks know me and my whip at the shows
My new painted engine cover (done it myself)
What U NEEED
1) KRYLON FUSION plastic spray paint (white, blk, clearcoat)
2) painters blue masking tape and old newspaper
3) small sponge paint brush
the steps
1) wash the cover with a a degreaser (dawn dish liquid works)
2) Dry thoroughly and wipe with lint free cloth
3) spray the lightest color in a larger area then u want it,
hold it about 1foot away and sweep he spray back and forth
4) let dry 15min, apply 2nd coat and let dry 1hr
5) mask off the 2nd color area with the tape and
newspaper..MAKE SURE TO COVER WELL
6) repeat step 4, then unmask the newly painted part
7) mask off the letters as close as possible
8) spray the paint generously on tip of sponge brush, and dap on the letters gently, letting 5min intervals between letter coats
9) repeat process with different color on the other letters (v6 or 3800 logo), and let dry 1hr
10) in a sweeping spray gently cover the paint with clear and
let dry 2hrs.. enjoy
