Exterior
For the exterior modifications I have made are 18x9 Deep Dish Chrome Billet wheels on front and 18x10 on back. Nitto 555's all around, CDC Classic Chin Spoiler, Clear Side Marker Lights, GT/CS Side Scoops and Pypes Violator Mufflers. The Violators have gotten louder over time. Still wish they were a little louder. So I plan to add a mid pipe with hi-flow cats eventually.

Engine Bay
For the Engine Bay modifications I added a C&L Street CAI with Brenspeed Performance tunes. I took the CAI tube and got it chromed. I added the chrome FRPP valve covers, billet fluid caps, chrome ribbed fusebox cover, Midwest Gear Plenum Cover, Midwest Gear painted radiator covers with extensions, Custom polished and engraved billet strut tower covers. I also replaced the air filter with an AEM grey to match the color scheme. I like the clean look in the engine bay. Can't wait to get my Stainless Steel hoses and chrome clamps. Will definitely look better.

I am a long time Mustang enthusiast. My mother told me I was pointing out Mustangs when I was about 6 years old. I never had the opportunity to own a Mustang until now. I am 47 years old and it never seemed to be the right time to purchase one. When I was young I had a hand-me down. When I got married it was practical cars because of costs.
I usually hold on to cars for about 15 years or so before purchasing a new one. In 2003 my 1986 Nissan Pulsar started to have transmission troubles. It wasn’t worth the money to fix it. My wife and I decided it was time for a new car. It was my turn to purchase a car. The only thing was that my wife’s car was already 12 years old and she had a long commute to work every day. So I decided to take her car so she could purchase a new car. This actually worked out great for me because in 2004 I saw a picture of the concept version of the new 2005 model Mustang. I knew right then and there I had to have one. Knowing how much of a Mustang freak I was my wife told me that when we finished paying off her car I could get my new Mustang. That was music to my ears. I started researching information about the new Mustangs on all of the Mustang forums in late 2006 planning my future modifications. By the time I ordered my car I had a plan of what modifications I would do.
On December 22, 2006 my wife asked how would you like to go order your new Mustang tomorrow. I was blown away. I think that smile is still on my face two years later. I had planned this purchase for a while. I did all the research on the options and color I wanted on my new Mustang. I ordered my car on December 23, 2006 and of course this was a great Christmas present. The car was to be delivered in February 2007.
The week after I ordered my car I went online and ordered my 18” chrome deep-dish Bullitt wheels. The wheels were delivered to my house about two weeks before I received the car. On February 15, 2007 the car was delivered to the dealer. I packed my wheels in my wife’s car and headed to the dealer the next day to pick her up. She was beautiful just as I expected. I drove her straight from the dealer to the tire shop. I purchased my new Nitto 555’s to be put on my new chrome wheels. When they took her off the rack there were several shop guys as well as the owner admiring my car. The guys just stood around saying man that car looks sweet with those wheels.
I loved the exhaust sound from the new Mustangs but I wanted something a little louder. I researched mufflers and found the Pypes Violators. That was just what I was looking for. The Violators have the four-inch stainless steel rounded tips. The sound is a deep rumble, which sounds great. It took a couple of months for them to break in but man now at WOT they sound awesome.
I did a lot of reading and research on what modifications would give me the best bang for the buck. After several months of research I decided to add a cold air intake with performance tunes from Brenspeed. This would add horsepower, some gas mileage increase and a smoothing out of the Automatic transmission. I made a decision to go with the C&L street version of their intake. There were two reasons I chose this particular intake. One was that they had a great reputation for increased power. The other was that I could send my aluminum intake tube to get chromed like I wanted. I wanted my intake to be a little different from everyone else. I saw that one of the guys on one of the forums I did my research on had done this. After I saw what it looked like I knew I had to do the same thing. It just makes the engine bay pop.
Overall I am thrilled to death with this car!
