Work in progress converting into Rx 13b bridge port, along with converting to a big brake (all disc) setup and 5 lug pattern (will use 2nd gen convertible bbs wheels). Need to know if someone out there knows the length of the rear end from axle flange to flange on the 1982 626. My car is presently in my slanted driveway with no front end. Items are being painted or powder coated (front end comp and bay). I fear lifting rear of car and have it shift. Also need to know axle spline count. I would greatly appreciate this info. Thanks Luis

I have been so busy I had not gotten a chance to give an update.  Car is currently sitting on jack stands all of the front end suspension is out and in process of powdercoat.  Engine bay stripped and painted.  Front wheel wells are in primer and await fresh undercoat and paint.  I have a new camera and will get more pictures in.  Sorry to all that have commented, but I have yet to figure out how to respond.  Oh the convertion was completed to 13b bp (with mockup engine-mechanical and electrical) and removed for engine bay paint.  Thanks Luis

This is a great looking car. I'm sure that when you finish this project it will be fast and good looking. I'm also looking for one of these 626s, and I want to make it rotary. If you know of anyone selling one let me know. My e-mail is walterrh67@hotmail.com
