So here is my '49. It needs work but it's all original at this point. It was my fathers, he bought from a friend some 12 yrs ago. When he passed away I took it on as my project since we never got to work on it. I'm a novice at best but I have lots of manuals and 2 cars, this one and a parts car.

So far the only thing I have done is clean the carb trying to get it running again.

I need to pull the starter and generator as I think I burned them up. Forgot the reverse polarity thing on these old 6 volt cars. Wiring is shot too it's a fire hazard at this point I believe but if I can get it running I will tackel that next.

Had it in a shop for 3 yrs after getting it from my Mom to have some work done but the guy took a life time and didn't get much done other then leave it parked outside and oxidize the paint something terible.
