I have and 06 6 speed King Cab and love it. Recently was warrantied a new alternator because I submerged it while off-roading. The puddle started going over the hood. Thats when I realized I want a lift.
The truck the day I got it.

I am in the process of saving up for a 5" Calmini lift. Any cheaper suggestions not counting body lifts?

Hey In the same boat as you...lookin for a lift. What have you learned as far as the 5"? I really don't want to drop money and in and come out with a pile or be unsatisfied. Any suggestions please let me know. I have an 03 nissan frontier sc crew. Thanks!

hey man i have the calmini 5" and i love it. i still wish it was a little bigger though. you do have to cut a little piece off of the transfer case mounting bracket. the ride is still as smooth as before!

hey man. thanks! i wanted the Calmini but at the time i heard horror stories about wait time. all the 3" can be installed yourself but i would have need help on a drop bracket setup (= more $$$). i would for sure get it now though. Calminis 5" is muchhhhhhh better for offroading than the fabtech kit. Look me up on clubfrontier.org or PM me and i can tell you more. the black wheels cost me about $20. just the paint and some sandpaper.

well it isnt smart to submerge that much wheelin anyways, any type of dirt is going to be bad sitting around in your engine. it is nestled right on top next to the engine cover so unless you went balls out and got your hood under water you should be fine.

dude the intake is jus sweet as is and the banks jus makes it better. the whisteling for the intake is totally cool and the exhaust jus rumbles and adds the coolest noise ever..it is a must get. if you do decide to get it go to performanceparts4trucks, and you can get it a lot cheaper than directly from banks
