This is a -73 comet owned by me and my friend. I was looking at the comets and maverick on this site and noticed that all the four door versions were pretty much in original condition so i decided to show you something a little different. The car was probably pimped in the ?80s or something but has survived pretty nicely. The engine has originally been a 250 cid it had a 302 and it has the 250 again,hope to get a v8 back under the hood before summer.

Nice Merc, Janne. This is pretty rare now. I like the stripes on that one. Great interior too. Looks very clean and straight for a '73 model. A real survivor. I gotta give it 5 stars! Keep it up with your rides. Cheers!!!

Great project, I had a 75 Maverick Grabber...It was my first new car I ever owned! You don't see Comets or Grabbers around here anymore, the salt got to them. I gave you 5****** Good luck with your project!

I think the paint job looks cool on it. Tasteful yet adds something special. How is it owning a car with someone else? That just sounds like a nightmare to me.
