Here are the most recent pics. This after a two year restoration project and still ongoing. The car has over 237,000+ miles. A rebuilt S38 engine was completed late summer of last year. I installed a no longer available AC Schnitzer front/rear bumper and side skirts in late 1999 and had the car re-sprayed in Carbon Black (an E39 M5 color)I got tired of the plain black! Recent accessories are these nice 18" WEDS Bavaria 2 piece wheels. Now before you start sending hate mail about the wrongs of putting 18" wheels on a 20 year old BMW, let me explain. I shopped for a year for wheels to replace my 17" OEM Ninja Throwing Star wheels. I was going to settle for OEM basket weave wheels but realized too many guys have the on their cars! The WEDS arrived via UPS a few days after Christmas! (Thanks Grandma and Kevin!) IMO these wheels give the car a more classic look and giving it an updated consevative "bling" look. To this date I have not noticed any of the negative mechanical assumptions people say. (ex. rough ride etc) I also converted to European staggered sized headlights. I will explain more in detail the modifications so far in the next pages. I just wanted your attention on this page!
