Hey man I had to get rid of mine about 2 months ago. I have 2 already and with prices of gas had to go. You asked about performance upgrades you need to be careful on what you do. You can get a hella lot of power out of her if you get your cyl. bored out. ( increase size of cyl.) But when you do that you weaken the block a little. You can always do racing chips and NOZ but they are in most cases not a very good means of over all performance increase vs. tap a button for temp. power. Boring I personally feel is they best overall way to get it done. Depending on where you live you can get a machine shop to do it for a couple thousand and be good to go. Down side is poor gas mileage but wicked power. If you can afford it get a lift kit and put on some large tires to equal out the mileage loss and gain as much from the power. Or you can just get a different gear ratio put into your rear axel to compensate for the power increase and be a really fast truck. Up to you man.. Keep me updated you have a fresh truck. Its not easy to work on but it will work. I traded up to a Dodge ram 1500 (2000) with a 5.2 V8. Mean beast but its still stock. I am looking for my first up grade to make to it.

Thats about the milage i bought my truck at. I did a exhaust and i thought it was good and bad because i didnt really get what i wanted but it was still nice. I would have to say the cats on this truck are difficault because there are a lot of shops that will rip you off to do it. Honestly i wouldnt buy performance or replacements. Just depending on you state laws and exhaust, i wouldnt try much. I havent done this yet so i dont know the exact results, but change your cats pipe size about .5in bigger. navajos run 2.25 inch i beleive and after my exhaust i ran i beleive 2.5in. or depending on use, just buy one of those adapters so you can open the pipe before the cats and close it whenever you want. O and dont think that dual pipes will get you anywhere, because they wont. not on our v6.

Dont be confused i still lvoe my truck and working on it, i jsut havent updated my site because i am in school and working full time. I have done a lot of tuning in the main componits and it has been very helpfull with power. I had; the fuel injectors cleaned, new o2 sensors, new spark plugs and wires, and always changing oil at 3 month/3000 miles. What kind of mileage you got?
