Introducing Connie. My close elderly friend Marie could not drive anymore. Thus, Marie would ask me take her to get her groceries, run errands and go out for Sunday drives in Connie. Marie knew how much pleasure I had when driving the two of them around. A few years later, Marie gave Connie to me. She had the 400 cid / 6.6 litre engine. My 1978 Chrysler Newport's 400 cid engine had way more power and torque for some reason. A very rare option was Connie's glowing roof strip that separated the vinyl section on her roof. At this point in my life, I had 5 Mopar's having troubles finding parking and storage for 4 of them. I sold Connie to a guy named Ed, so I could use the money to fix up my 1960 Dodge Polara.
Below is a picture of Connie and Besilu. The VW was my landlords. What a difference in size!
