I decided to record a couple sound clips of my stock setup. All I used was duct tape and the AVB digital MP3 player with internal mic. Put the MP3 player on "record", taped it to the rear step bumper with aforementioned duct tape, and instant sound clips. The only drawback is that the mic picks up EVERYTHING, including wind noise, suspension movement, and noise from rocks thrown up by the rear tires. I thought of putting the mic inside the bed, but then that would give a false resonance with the bed enclosure acting as a buffer of sorts. I edited out as much extraneous noise as I could so you could hear the stock exhaust on start up and acceleration.
