I bought this truck almost 2 yrs ago from a guy out near Chicago. It started out with a 4.8 motor and it now has a lq9 6.0l out of a Escalade truck that was damaged in transport on its way to the dealership. Before the engine was installed in the truck it received a Torquer II cam from Texas Speed that gives it a sick sound, 42lb injectors, and MSD ingintion wires. Other perfomance mods now include long tube ceramic coated headers, flex-a-lite electric fans, a custom dual filter intake, magnaflow exhaust with electric cut-outs just after the headers, 4.10 GM performace gears w/ Auburn Pro Posi unit, 3500 stall converter, trans-go shift kit and HD tranny cooler, and custom programming that still needs some work! It put down 360hp and 350tq @ the wheels, but its running extremely rich right now so there should be a few more HP when its tuned correctly...
Exterior mods aren't too extensive yet! Basically it has a 3/4 belltech lowering kit, 22" Centerlines w/ Nitto Extreme NT555's, cowl hood, pace edwards tonneau, angel-eye projector headlights, clear tails, and a regency lower front valence. The paint is completely original and was a very rare color back in '01.
The interior is just about bone stock except for escalade gauges, custom door panel inserts, and a cheap (for now!) cd player...
