I am in the market to buy a new car, and i just cant seem to decide between the 2009 corolla xrs or the 2008 civic si sedan.

My first car was a 1999 sc, i bought it at a from private party in 2004 when I turned 16, and it has over 150 thousand miles I just found a good job, and i am ready to get a new car.

I am not going to get anything other than a Toyota or a Honda, i need something that is extremely reliable with good horse power and mpg.

I looked at the 2009 corollas first, and i have to admit they look nice at least on the outside.  But after reading the reviews, i am not so sure about the 09 xrs, pretty much every review said it is a wannabie sports car.

I went to car max and an 07 civic si cought  my eye. pretty much everyone said it is amazing to drive and a over all awesome car.

My mom as a camry and she wants me to get a toyota but she likes hondas too
I do want something sporty, i figure this is my last chance for me to get a fun car, since 5-6 yrs from now i probably be married and would want a bigger car then. So i have pretty much made up my mind on the 09 xrs or the 08 si sedan. I am leaning more towards the si since it is a lot more fun than the xrs, but the xrs is cheaper, dont need premium gas.

This is my first car i am going to buy (my parents bought me the saty). I am planning on making a purchase this end of 08 or at the begining of the new year. carmax has a 07 si sedan black in stock 19,000 for 19000 miles  with navi and front side and rear spoilers installed.

my saturn isnt the fastest car and I want something thats going to go I like the hondas strong engine but 8,000 rpms its a bit much I dont like the old hondas but I think the 07-09 look great as long as they have the lip kit

what should I do? btw any other cars to conseder would be nice

Thanks in advance for the replies.and take my poll please
