THIS CAR HAS BEEN IN MY FAMILY SINCE THE DAY IT ROLLED OFF THE LOT. MY GRANDMOTHER DROVE THIS CAR DAY AFTER DAY UNTIL SHE BROKE DOWN AND BOUGHT A CHRYSLER FIFTH AVENUE. MY POPS AND I TOOK THIS CAR AND STARTED RESTORING IT FROM THE GROUND UP. A LOT OF THE WORK WE DID OURSELVES, EXCEPT CUTTING THE RUST OUT, WELDING NEW METAL IN, PAINTING, UPHOLSTERING THE CAR. A LOT OF THE WORK WAS DONE BEFORE DIGITAL CAMERA WERE EVEN AROUND SO ALL WE HAVE ARE PICTURES OF WHAT THE CAR LOOKS LIKE AFTER WE GOT THE RUST CUT OUT AND THE NEW PAINT ON.

Great job on the restoration! Drive em and enjoy em. If you havent run across my page yet, I have posted a couple of original 1971 Chrysler - Plymouth sales brochures. Check out what your car looked like in the original sales brochure, and some of the styles and options that were available in 1971. Its kinda cool! Thanks.

I'm diggin the duster...5stars....my friend had one in high school...i remember trying to scrape up 5 or six dollars to cruise to the roller rink(gas was 87 cents a gallon at that time)....it rocked ...slant six i think....thanks for the flashback
