Finally the car starts and runs!!! After many looong nights the car is back to life. Now its time to take the car to the dyno to set it up.

The car still has its details that need to be adressed but we need to see the car running first. And so begins the dyno nightmare... First off as soon as the car got on the dyno the Megasquirt CPU died... aparentrly there was an error on the program so we needed to get the basic setup again. So i went in search of the guy that installed the CPU on the car to get the setup again but i only found out that he had left for vacation to Florida so I was stuck with nothing. Thankfully the dyno owner also worked on Megasquirt CPU's and he was able to give it a starting setup.

After we found the starting setup the car gave 224whp but it would not rev higer than 4,000rpm's Since the car had the stock fuel pump and V8 fuel injectors we saw that this combination wasnt fitting for the car. So time to get a new fuel pump and fuel injectors.

Finaly after we installed a Walbro fuel pump and some Deka Siemens 65lb Fuel injectors the car was reving hapily. But due to an event the car was needed and we didnt get the chance to fine tune it. So the final numbers of the dyno run were:

Not bad for it to be running on a stock volvo turbo. Tough we were aiming for 300whp, 262 are enough. For the event we limited the car to 6,200 revs just so we dont hurt it and went off.

So after the car was running I installed the front spoiler and had a friend make some on the fly designs of my mom and dad's shop also one of my friends speed shop who has been helping me a little in the build.

On the day of the event at the Arecibo racetrack we had to go trough the Gulf refinery that exploded so we kinda arrived to late to the track but still i wanted to test the car so here are a few vids.

The car doesnt have a proper exhaust, and there are some minor problems with the e-brake and a little overheating, so ill try to fix that by December so that i can race on the Dominican Republic. Hope you enjoyed vewing my lil project, but there is more to come! Ill update the page as soon as I get more stuff and money in the car.

Well im broke again jeje but at least i managed to put a decent exhaust on the car.

Borla 3" universal muffler and a straight 3" tube all the way

I exagerated a bit and grabed a old truck exhaust tip thats 4" and welded it to the muffler so that it may have a more agressive look. I think it did the trick.
