Hello and welcome to my page! Here i have my race car a lil bmw 325is from the 1990. Well we obtained the car with hopes of it being sold on for us to get profit out of it but since no one wanted it at the time we took it as our little toy.

zero_shift's 1990 BMW 3-Series the car was painted in a bright red and finished off with gray and dark gray stripes on the side.

zero_shift's 1990 BMW 3-Series some picks of the ultra luxurious interior! jeje

zero_shift's 1990 BMW 3-Series Right now the car is "naked"because it has no actual sponsors yet so we are still looking for any sponsor!
The car was built very quickly because its fairly easy to do in just 1 1/2 weeks the car was painted and moded with all the safety and performance equipment to make it legal to race as a class IT-S car according to the SCCA rules.

zero_shift's 1990 BMW 3-Series Here the car was being worked on the rear brakes the night before its debut at Ponce.

zero_shift's 1990 BMW 3-Series Here the car is being towed on the morning of its debut, from a town called Gurabo to Ponce for the event.

zero_shift's 1990 BMW 3-Series Hey thats me getting ready for a test drive of the car!

The car is currently running strong despite it being only 2 races old. We just have to work out some minor problems and the car should be smacking @$$ on the track!!
--The 2008 season begins here in PR at the Ponce International Speedway the first race will be this weekend 16-17 February!! hope everything goes well ^^!!!--

zero_shift's 1990 BMW 3-Series Ahh!! the new season begins!! first up is me followed by my little brother first race! what will happen?

zero_shift's 1990 BMW 3-Series In this first race of the season well there wasn't a lot of competition given there were other social events and that the GT class did not race. Here you see my brother tackling turn 7 at Ponce.

zero_shift's 1990 BMW 3-Series the car ran well but there was something that wasn't right with it...
Thats me braking for turn 11 of Ponce.
zero_shift's 1990 BMW 3-Series There was something bad about the car alright about half way into my first heat I started to miss the apex of almost every turn no mater what I did.

zero_shift's 1990 BMW 3-Series After the race we inspected the car and found out the problem.

Break down: The first race was not a bad experiense for my little brother after all this was his first race and he managed to hold on to second place!! ^^ The problem with the car was that it blew up a shock absorber (Front right to be specific) and it acted like a minivan taking corners! Still we also need to refresh the engine after all the car has over 130k miles on it and its only natural for it to lose comprecion on 1 or 2 cylinders. Also we are going to change the suspencion from a Koni/Vogthland set up to a Bilstein/H&R set up.

Well this last weekend there was an unoficial event at salinas speedway and we raced the car there to try out the new suspencion!
zero_shift's 1990 BMW 3-Series
Trough saturday and sunday the car had some misterious backfiring we did not know were was it from and the car would just start to missfire/backfire after 5-8 laps of the track.
zero_shift's 1990 BMW 3-Series
But that aside the car was running great the H&R springs and Blistein shocks are really THE best setup for this car it feels so nimble on the turns... but still it needs more

zero_shift's 1990 BMW 3-Series

The car needs to be more rigid it still need the front and rear strut bars.
zero_shift's 1990 BMW 3-Series the first round was intense and the missfire made it even worst our competition was more agile on the turns and we only had the straights to our side but with the missfire it was looking grim.
zero_shift's 1990 BMW 3-Series I had numerous encounters with the Dodge Neon's on the turns unfortunately contact was inevitable.
zero_shift's 1990 BMW 3-Series close contact with the neon on turn 2 (not intencional)
zero_shift's 1990 BMW 3-Series Payback! the neon strikes me back >_< and we go on a little rally expedition.

Still somehow I managed to get 1rst place on the first round!
Coming on to the second round i was woried about my lil bro and the car being missfiring. we decided to change the spark plugs and what a surprise!
zero_shift's 1990 BMW 3-Serieszero_shift's 1990 BMW 3-Series
look at those! the car ran a 30 lap race with those spark plugs and won (by a miracle) we were shoked to see how those things were. Lucky my brother he gets to race the car on its full potencial. Of couse we changed the spark plugs and the car was happily reving to the 7000rpm's like new.
zero_shift's 1990 BMW 3-Series my bro lining up to race the 2nd round.
zero_shift's 1990 BMW 3-Series Oh no! the competition! those Neons are swift in the corners and even outbrake me! thats something I will remember the rest of my life >_<
zero_shift's 1990 BMW 3-Series Hopefuly the track had more loong straights than sharp turns so for the second round it was smooth sailing to victory a 1st place for my bro. making this a sweep for the weekend.
