This is my latest project. I picked it up from a friend of mine, who's mother bought it in 1998 in Fort Lauderdale, FL. It was then undercoated and moved into daily driver duties in upstate New York until early '07. My friend had started to do some restoration work, but couldn't continue, so I'm picking up where he left off.

Update Oct 7th, 2008
This is how the car looks now, sitting on a set of 1.3" whitewalls and wire wheel covers. I had the spoke wheels mounted for a while, but to me the look didn't quite click, plus the day I had them mounted, one of the center caps fell off while I was driving, and was never heard from again. Then I got an unpatchable leak in one of the tires, so I decided it was time for a change.

Here's how it looked with the wires... and missing center cap.

Update Feb 12th, 2008.
Got a chance to polish the chrome and some of the stainless, and deep cleaned the wheels with Eagle One Chrome & Wire Wheel Cleaner & a toothbrush - the stuff of legends. New pics.

Interior. All in all, nice condition. The dash cap isn't even cracked. But the driver's seat needs to be redone, that's why the seat cover is on it. On Feb. 16th, 2008 I went through detail cleaning the whole thing with a toothbrush & Q-Tips. Didn't have time to shampoo the carpets yet, but the rest is immaculate.

It came into my possession on January 26th, 2008, so I haven't had very much time with forgiving weather to work on it. Progress will pick up in the spring, until then it'll be slow going.
A quick photoshop; lowering the rear to level the car out, and 1.3 inch whitewalls. Original photo was taken mid-'07 before any work was done.

It's a cool car though, stared out as a base Brougham, but it was one of those dealer add-on packages with the gold emblems, grille, canvas covered roof, real wire wheels, black piping on the gray leather, keyless entry, and even a trumpet horn that sounds like a train.
Here are the wire wheels that were originally on the car, they were taken off in the past in favor of wire hubcaps for ease of cleaning. The wires will go back on soon.
