This is what i have to work with i paid 1200 for the whole car and it came with a 305 everything stock. I finally got the motor to go out turns out i spun a bearing. This is the car and how it sits without the motor or transmission. Well its been a year now and i am putting a sbc 350 in the car with a 700r4 and 2500 rpm stall.This motor is a 1976 350 CHEVY SHORT BLOCK. THIS ENGINE IS BORED 30 OVER WITH LIGHT WEIGHT FORGED FLAT TOP 2 EYE BROW PISTONS. THIS ENGINE HAS A CAST CRANK THAT HAS BEEN TURNED 10 ON THE MAINES AND 10 ON THE ROD JOURNALS.THE MAIN AND ROD BEARINGS ARE CLEVITTE 77. THE RODS ARE STOCK MACHINED RODS.THE OIL PUMP IS A HIGH VOLUME MELLING OIL PUMP AND THE OIL PUMP SHAFT IS A MOROSO ONE PIECE HARDENED SHAFT.THIS ENGINE HAS A COMP CAM DOUBLE ROLLER CHAIN. THE CAM IS A COMP MAGNUM CAM # CCA 12 213 3 WITH A 501 INTAKE AND 501 EXHAUST LIFT THE DURATION IS 244 AT 50 ON INTAKE AND EXHAUST. THE LIFTERS ARE CRANE CAMS # 99277-16 THEY ARE HIGH RPM LIFTERS.THERE IS ALSO A NEW HEAVY DUTY THICKER RACING FLEX PLATE FROM PRW WITH NEW ARP FLEX PLATE BOLTS.THIS ENGINE ALSO HAS A NEW OIL PAN AND NEW HARMONIC BALANCER. It also has crane cam roller rockers a holley 750cfm carb and an edelbrock aluminum intake. More pics to come.
