Project B-Force is underway.
This is NOT a clone - It is a genuine Super Bee by Vin and Fender Tag.
I bought this car on Ebay - the first 2 pics are actually from the Ebay listing when it was for sale.
When I picked up the car and inspected it closely, It was obvious that it was not being rebuilt with the kind of meticulous attention I wanted. But definitely a solid car. No "visible" rust or damage.
On the trip home, that beautiful hood caught a Strong gust of wind. You can see what's left of it if you look close. OUCH, What a shame. ----> Into my shop it goes.
It didn't take me long to figure out that I needed this car on a rotisserie. I wasn't ready to throw $2K on a good strong one, so, I took a little time and built one. My shop is pretty small, I knew I would only have a couple inches of clearance to turn this car vertical. I was very careful about the design of my rotisserie. The pivot point is centered in the available space.

TIME-OUT
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have had a few requests to share my rotisserie design - My response is as follows:
I design steel as my profession (20 years now). My rotisserie is strong and stable. Unfortunately, I live in a society where many people (like wolves) are looking for a reason to take what someone else has earned, and the courts take the side of the wolf all too often. I thought about putting my drawings and pictures on ebay for sale. But, I simply cannot risk a lawsuit from every idiot wolf that smashes his finger building or using a rotisserie that I designed.
I will make a page here soon, and post some pictures of the rotisserie. Glean what you will, you're on your own from there.

OK, Lets get back to my car
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I am 90% decided on the color -- I'm thinking this Bumblebee Gold and black will look real nice on my Super Bee. It sure looks good on the 2009 Camaro.
I don't have a lot of spare time, mostly just weekends. But, I'm not in a hurry. I enjoy the building part as much as the driving part. Every piece of this project will be done well, or I'll grind deeper, cut further, sand it again -- whatever it takes.
Thanks for checkin me out!
- Please rate my project if you like it.
