I bought this car summer of '07 when I got back from South Korea. I found the car online for about $4,000, Its a 1994 Formula LT1 with the Borg-Warner T-56 6-speed and t-tops. I showed up for a test drive..took it around the block..about 2 hours later I was putting the cash in the guys hands. I bought the car with high miles (120,000-ish) but the car had been maintained pretty well...was obviously owned by an adult its entire life. She's in great condition minus the paint due to all the michigan winters shes had to deal with.
I been workin on her little by little..every pay check i buy SOMETHING for her...anything from spark plugs and wires up to rotating assemblies and engine blocks. My intent with her is to get down to 10's...ish..basicaly a very potent car at the track yet still legal-ish for the occasional weekend drive while still maintaining a general stock exterior. Now that Im just about out of the Army, I can finaly start preparing to put in the hours of labor its going to take to put all my new toys on her and prep her for paint and get her to that show quality I've been waiting for.
