I bought this car as a project with a blown engine. It only has 97,000 miles on it. Either granny was runnin' too much NOS, or fuel injector #3 got plugged up and the mixture went lean...thus melting the piston and plugging up the oil pump with the debris. I am currently in the process of rebuilding it. I also use it as a storage shed for all my extra parts.

UPDATE! (2/18/08)
Rebuilt engine is in and almost ready to fire.

IT'S ALIVE!!! (3/11/08)
Engine is all reassembled (except for a few minor things) and it runs. It sounds good, has plenty of oil pressure, and does not have a "service engine" light on. Overall, I guess that's pretty decent considering I rebuilt the engine by myself, mostly outside, without removing it from the car.

The exterior is still in deperate need of a cleaning, but it doesn't look too bad. You can see all my greasy handprints covering the front of the car.

Lookin' Pretty Good (3/17/08)
Almost finished. Got it all washed up and put on some new tires and my best set of Polycast wheels. Still have to fix the little rust hole in the quarter panel and a few other minor things before I sell it.

UPDATE! (7/11/08)
Just sold the car today. It will be missed, but I am putting part of the money into my green Tempo to make it even louder and faster!
