So here's my 97 z28.

And here's when I bought it, back in July of '06.

Until now, it's been relatively stock. Only mods were an SLP CAI and 3" cutout... Still took Mustangs and imports easy as pie.

In October of '07, I started did a cam swap, to the lt4 hotcam. I also added headers, new opti, new waterpump, ORY, and plugs/wires.

I also painted my intake, but unfortunately, there was some sand (from sandblasting) in it when I put everything back together, and sand got all in the piston rings after 3 crank ups.

Here's an idle video, through Pacesetter Longtubes, ORY, and Magnaflow catback.

Hotcam Idle

My dad and I took out the engine in December, and placed an order for a 383 lt1 shortblock. Forged pistons, forged internals, still using my lt4 hotcam, and ported and polished stock heads.

The new block should be here in the first or second week of February. When it gets here, it's getting painted Hugger Orange, to match the stripes. I hope to have at least 425 hp to the wheels, and plan to shoot at least a 150 shot of nitrous on top of that.
