Front driver door after applying two layers of mastic and spraying it with rubberized undercoat. Make sure you wrap all moving mechanisms with foil or similar substance unless you want the to jam on you Undercoat drying. Side note: undercoat was a nice try but it hardly made any difference. I recommend using as many mass sheets instead and try not to use the spray at all unless you have to. The layer of spray is so thin, that it simply is not very effective in stopping vibrations. Another shot of undercoat drying What a mess More mastic applied to the door panel There go two more layers of undercoat No comment Door panel in factory condition. Weighs only about 2 pounds. Door dried and almost ready Some heat shield in the door to stop the noise. Side note: I do not recommend doing this! After a while the moisture in the door soaks into the padding and it falls off, possibly even jamming the window mechanisms. I had to learn the hard way. After a few months my driver windows stopped rolling down all the way. A lesson to learn!!!
