The Polo is a Stock 1.0 Litre Unleaded Petrol engine.
I'm currently refurbishing it, I'm lacking a lot of cash since I'm a student so go easy on this baby till i slowly modify it.

Previous Women Owner didn't take much care of it , infact its full of scratches has a small rust patch(which I'm working on).
I Cleaned out the Upholstery, finally.
Has a worn out Steering wheel (so I'm looking forward to buying a steering cover) and you wouldn't believe how she changed her mirror...She glued another mirror on top of it lol.
I replaced that very easily, wasn't a big deal, just really really funny.

The Engine is fantastic, it accelerates on the steepest hills on 4th gear, when in my training car (Toyota Starlet diesel) going up a hill, the car used to slow down and I'd have to double declutch to 2nd gear to avoid stalling it.
The Clutch used to cut at the end, but a trip to the mechanic and it was easily tuned to cut in the middle which is much more comfortable.
When I depress the clutch, the revs sometimes fall below 1000 and then the Car Revs up on its own ...which is quite mysterious, Mechanic thinks its something to do with the Throttle housing and the fuel injection. (i.e expensive), but I'm working on it! I'm hoping its just some inexpensive component thats gone and not the whole thing!

A good friend of mine came to visit me with his own Polo
to see the car, all our parents have VW's coincidentally.
His Polo is exactly like mine, but its Candy White, 4 door and manufactured in 1996.

I don't know what more to say, other than its a great car worthy of the VW brand. Slowly Slowly I'll begin Customizing it .
Wish me luck!
If anyone is planning on getting a Second hand Polo as a first car I really Recommend it. Its Awesome!
