My Daily Driver 2005 Honda Accord LX
I can't drive my 40 year old Chevelle every day, so here is what I drive 28 miles each way to and from work:
This is what it looked like when I brought it home:
It has the 2.4L VTEC four cylinder engine. This is a great engine. 160 hp naturally aspirated (87 octane). Coupled with the 5 speed manual, this is actually a pretty fun car to drive. I have never gotten less than 30 mph, even when driving aggressively and cruising at 70mph. You can get 33 or 34 if you baby it.
After about a year of driving it like this, I got really fed up with the plain jane 15" steel wheels and plastic hubcaps. The LX model comes nicely equipped and is alot cheaper than the EX version. But the wheels had to go. So I bought a set of 17" 05 Acura TSX factory rims on ebay and immediately dressed things up ALOT. Here's a shot where you can compare (front and rear):

The stock tires were 195/65/15 and the TSX stock tires (still mounted on the rims) are 205/50/17. So the OD is essentially the same and the wheels bolted right up no problems since the TSX and Accord are built on the same platform.
Much, much better looking IMO and sets my Accord off from all the other Accords on the road.
The only other mods are a custom install of my Sirius Satellite unit. I removed the center armrest console and drilled a hole in the bottom so I could plug the 12v power into the auxiliary plug inside with no exposed wires.
Then I removed the shifter knob and boot, ashtray and 12v plug cover, and the storage console below the factory radio.
I drilled a hole in the dash storage console and routed the power and antenna wires in:
Then I reinstalled everything so that there were no exposed wires and I could put the receiver unit in the storage console. Now I can just shut the door on the console (no wires sticking out) and you can't even tell it is there.
I later custom fit a piece of plexiglass to the bottom of the console so I can attach the suction cup mount to this and fit the receiver unit in the console better (it is just sitting freely in the console here). I don't have a picture of this.
I didn't want to mess with the weatherstripping on the doors or trunk so I just set the satellite antenna on the back package tray and ran the wire behind and under the rear seat.
There is a bit of exposed wire on the floor in the back seat between the bottom of the rear seat and the back of the center console, but I rarely have anyone back there anyway and even when I do it doesn't seem to be a problem.
I got a radio installation guide from Crutchfield to help me figure out how to remove all the trim and find all the hidden screws. They have these for practically any car for about $5. You can also find (online) adapters to directly connect the satellite receiver to the factory radio. Then you don't have to use the FM modulator feature of the satellite receiver. But the adapters were expensive and custom made, and I didn't want to mess with pulling out the factory radio. This setup has worked well for several years now and is cheap and clean.
